Join us for the opening of our exhibition, launch of our book and a delicious meal at The Hornbeam Centre

After two years we are delighted to formally announce the opening of our exhibition and launch of our new book, Kitchen Resistance: How Women Have Used Food As A Political Tool since 1800.

Join us for an evening of entertainment at The Hornbeam Centre in Walthamstow to view the exhibition and share together in a delicious meal, prepared by The Gleaner's Cafe. We are delighted to include our special guest chef, Najlaa Jarbou, a Palestinian refugee, who will will prepare some special treats from her homeland.

The food served is inspired by our new book, Kitchen Resistance. Throughout the night you will be able to hear some readings, and take away a signed copy at the end of the night.

We look forward to welcoming you for a night of great food, great company and resistance!
